Trip Description:
Want to get outside? Come join Jillian and Sonja for the final miles of the Appalachian Trail up the Hunt Trail to the top of Baxter! Katahdin is the largest mountain in Maine and definitely one on the Colby bucket list!
We will commence the adventure on Saturday afternoon, drive to Millinocket, and camp out with the other COC trip. A delicious dinner is promised! The plan is to get a start with the sun and be back at Colby by dinner on sunday!
This wont be a hike for the faint of heart. Be prepared for a long day on the trail, varied terrain, and inclement weather.
Food will be provided for dinner saturday and breakfast sunday. Participants will need to bring their lunch and snacks. In an effort to defray the cost, please bring $10. |
