Trip Description:
Join Ally, Tara, and John in their wild early November Adventure up Tumbledown Mountain. A classic Colby bucket-list item, Tumbledown is a moderate hike that boasts awesome views, scrambling rocks, and a primo pond (with potential dippage) to boot! Expect cold weather (a high of 45 at the base) which means you'll need lots of warm layers. We'll be meeting for breakfast at Dana at 8 am on Sunday morning, where we'll pack our lunch for the day, and try to leave by 8:30. It's a 2 hour drive, 3.5 mile hike, and we're expecting to be back on campus in time for dinner/the COC meeting. Don't miss this groooovy opportunity to explore Maine's great outdoors!
And if you're not sold, there just may be some hot chocolaty drank to be enjoyed at the top...!
