Trip Description:
Come join Jillian, Julia, and Carolyn for a scenic jaunt on bikes around the historic Carriage Roads in Acadia National Park! All skill levels are welcome and you don't need to own your own bike. We hope to explore a portion of the 40+ miles of rustic roads, beautiful stone bridges, and see the ocean! Popovers and tea may be part of the afternoon agenda.
The trip will begin at 4:45 on Friday and return by 5pm on Saturday. We will be camping at Blackwoods campground with ALL the other COC trips. #party Breakfast and snacks will be provided for Saturday (dinner on campus prior to departure).
Please send jpblouin@colby.edu an email about whether or not you have a bike or need a bike. We can bargain (aka rent) one for you in Acadia if necessary |
