Trip Description:
Would you like to be on one of the coolest trips ever? Well this trip cannot be hyped up enough. Hayden and I are leading a trip ice climbing. That's right, freaking ice climbing and we want you to sign-up! This Saturday, all day, we're going to be crushing ice with our bare hands (well, maybe with axes) with 6 of you folk. No prior experience needed nor personal gear as we will be using licensed guides.
Here are the logistics... Sign-ups will start tomorrow (Tuesday) night at 8 pm and end on Wednesday night at 8 pm. However, this is different than a normal COC trip sign-up because this is a lottery. In addition to trying to sign-up on the calendar, you need to email me (spbutler@colby.edu) AND Hayden (shcarpen@colby.edu) saying you're interested and listing your shoe size. We will then pick 6 names and contact you Wednesday night if you're on the trip. Now, just because you give us your shoe size doesn't mean you're on the trip. Just because you're one of the first people to sign-up on the calendar (and the calendar says you're on) doesn't mean you're on the trip. Just because you sign up and the calendar says you're on the wait-list, or even if you're not able to sign up on the calendar because all the spaces are filled, doesn't mean you're not on the trip. You all have an equal chance as long as you sign up between 8 pm Tuesday and 8 pm Wednesday. We will email you on Wednesday night if you are coming.
