Colby Quilting Club

Quilting Club Logo

The Colby Quilting Club is open to all students and faculty members. The Quilting Club began in the '96-'97 school year and have completed many projects since then. One such project is the Pugh Center Quilt.

No experience is required because club members all learn to make a preemie baby quilt, which is donated to a local hospital.  You will learn all necessary skills while making this quilt.  After that, you may work on the project of your choice.  Club leadership is always available to help you!

Meeting Times

We have our own room on the first floor of Leonard with some sewing machines, irons, rotary mats, and other necessary quilting paraphernalia, like seam rippers.  Meetings are Monday evenings from 7-9, but members also get their name on a list with security so they can check out the key at any time to come quilt.
