Season Comes to a Close

The season came to a close for Colby Rugby this weekend, with a 19-8 loss to Plymouth State University in the New England Plate Final. The Mules fought until the bitter end, keeping the game close until Plymouth State scored a try with only minutes to play to put the game away. The season, although it came to a disappointing end, was still very successful for the team, as they finished with a record of 6-3 including the playoffs, and made it further in the playoffs than any Colby rugby team in years. As the offseason begins, the team will continue training, hoping to build on the successes of the fall and find glory in the Beast of the East tournament and the Maine Collegiate Championship in the spring.

On to the finals!
