Thanks to the generosity of donors like you, every year the College transforms the lives of students who would not have been able to attend without financial aid. Colby meets 100 percent of demonstrated need for incoming students, and with our no-loan financial aid policy, all aid is in the form of grants that don’t have to be repaid. This ensures that young women and men with talent and a willingness to work hard may reap the benefits of a Colby education even if their families cannot afford the comprehensive fee.
Approximately forty-one percent of Colby students receive institutional grant aid. More than $25 million in grants is awarded annually, and the average grant aid awarded is $40,489. Keeping the Colby experience accessible to students of merit depends on strong financial aid powered by a growing endowment. And a healthy endowment depends on donors like you.
