Going on to Graduate School
Career Services can advise you on the process of applying to graduate or professional
schools. You may pick up registration booklets for various tests (GRE, Praxis,
LSAT, MCAT, etc.) in our office or check our grad
school testing handout for web links. We also post information about test-prep
classes offered on campus each year. Opening a reference file with Career
Services may make the application process smoother for you. And we are happy
to review graduate school application essays. So, make an appointment with
a staff member to talk about your graduate school plans and let us help you
find the resources you need for the questions you have. Our handout on the
process of applying
to graduate school can also be downloaded for your reference.
We've gathered information about Colby students' most frequently
asked questions related to graduate school applications. You'll find them
on the second page of our grad school testing handout or you can pick up a
handout in the Career Services Office.
Career Services offers a Reference
File Service that can make your application process easier and quicker
for both you and your reference writers. Forms to open a Reference File may
be picked up in Career Services.
