Graduate School Test Links
GRE, GMAT, LSAT, MCAT, Praxis Series, and Foreign Service Exam. Also, see our answers to Frequently Asked Questions about graduate school testing. For information about test-prep courses that may be offered locally, check out Princeton Review and Kaplan.

GRE (Graduate Record Examination)
This site is for all fields of study not covered by examinations listed below. Information about the Graduate Record Examination is available on their website or by picking up a GRE Information and Registration Bulletin in Career Services. The General Test of the GRE is offered only via computer-based testing. General tests may be scheduled year-round world-wide. Call Candidate Services Call Center 1-800-473-2255 to schedule a test time that fits your needs. Subject Tests of the GRE are paper-based tests and are offered in November, December, and April.

GMAT (The Graduate Management Admission Test) is being offered only in computer-based format at centers around the world. You may take the test on a date convenient for you. Call 1-800-462-8669 for more information and to register. The GMAT web site contains information about the computer adaptive technology being used as well as tips on studying for the GMAT.

LSAT (The Law School Admission Test)
Tests are being offered in October, December, February, and June. Information about the LSAT and links to on-line registration forms are available on their website. LSAT & LSDAS Registration and Information Books may be picked up in Career Services. Cate Talbot Ashton, Associate Director of Career Services, is the college Pre-Law Advisor. You may schedule an appointment with her by calling X3343.

MCAT (Medical College Admission Test)
If you are planning on applying to medical school, you must first speak with an advisor on the Pre-Med Committee. Contact Cynthia Parker in Career Services for further information about applying to medical schools. The MCAT is offered in April and August. Test registration is on-line.

PCAT The Pharmacy College Admission Test
This test is usually offered in October, January, and March.

Praxis Series Tests
The Praxis Series of tests is for beginning teachers and is required for certification in approximately 34 states. Consult the web for information about the Praxis series tests, including additional subject-specific testing, or pick up a Registration Bulletin in Career Services. Tests are offered on paper on several dates or at computer-based testing sites throughout the year.
