| Consortia programs sponsored by Colby's Office of Career Services CONSORTIA Q & A Q: What are Consortia Programs? BIG APPLE RECRUITING CONSORTIUM (BARC) The Big Apple Recruiting Consortium (BARC) has a specific focus on entry level positions in the Communications and Non-Profit fields. It will be held at the American Management Association Conference Center in February of 2007 and will include students from Colby, Bates, Clark, Davidson, Hobart & William Smith, Hope, and Marist Colleges and Washington & Lee University. The deadline for applying is January 14. LIBERAL ARTS RECRUITING CONSORTIUM (LARC) LARC-Boston Recruiting Connection, offers a job fair and interviewing day planned for Friday, November 3, 2006. Instructions on how to apply will be sent to all seniors in the Fall. The deadline for submitting resumes will be in October. Participants in this program include students from Colby, Bates, Connecticut, Holy Cross, Mount Holyoke, Smith, Trinity, and Union Colleges. https://www.myinterfase.com/BARC/student/ PLEASE NOTE: Interviewing opportunities at these programs are reserved for current seniors. LARC-Boston, however, includes a job fair with many employers seeking interns.
