e-Recruiting
Colby's own database and calendar of job listings, internships, recruiting opportunities, and fellowships. All students should register now for easy access. Use your Colby e-mail address (including the @colby.edu) and your student ID number to get into the system -- you may then choose another username and password if you would like for subsequent access.

Spotlight on Careers
A collection of career-specific web guides developed for liberal arts students. Most pages lead to career-specific job listing sites. Access to Spotlight is limited to students at participating colleges. If you are accessing Spotlight from off-campus, you must ask Career Services for username and password to access this resource.

MONSTERTRAK
One of the largest job listing and resume databases for college students and alumni. MonsterBoard and JobTrak have merged into this job search supersite.

Maine College Grads
This is a new job listing site for Maine employers to list positions for college graduates. The site is coordinated by the Maine Recruiting Consortium, a group of Maine college career services professionals, including Colby's Career Services staff.

Newslink
links users to newpapers all over the world. Check out the classifieds and help wanted where you want to live and work.

JobWeb Site of the National Association of Colleges and Employers
points you to resources available through Career Services Offices at other colleges and universities.

The Riley Guide
is a continually updated set of links to job search information throughout the net.

The Employment Times
Maine and New Hampshire's weekly employment publication. http://www.employmenttimesonline.com/index.html

Diversity Work Issues Links:
Resources for Gay, Lesbian, and Bisexual Students may be found in a number of places, but one great place to start is in Spotlight on Careers. Scroll to the bottom and select "Intercultural Resources." The Grinnell College site is particularly rich in information.

Resources for International Students are also linked to the Spotlight on Careers "Intercultural Resources" page. International students may find visa information and information about graduate school resources on this page.

Resources for ALANA Students are another set of links on the Spotlight on Careers "Intercultural Resources" page. Students will find an extensive list of intercultural online job resources linked to this page.

Business and Finance Links:
Vault.com
offers a site with company research tools, excellent advice articles on job search topics, and the opportunity to register for a job matching service.  We recommend this site highly for research purposes. Free downloads of their resources and books is available to Colby students and alumni by entering vault.com through the welcome page of eRecruiting.

WetFeet.com
is another site with in-depth industry and company information (some of which they charge a fee to provide).  They bill their site as "The Inside Scoop on the Job You Want." More complete access to WetFeet resources is available through eRecruiting.
