About CCYC

The Colby Sailing Club was renamed in the Spring of 2003 as the Colby Corinthian Yacht Club. Our mission is to expand and improve intercollegiate sailing at Colby College in order to create a team that can compete and succeed on a national level by building upon the current interest and ability already present on campus.  For the past three years, the CCYC has become very active in the Eastern Series of the New England Intercollegiate Sailing Association, generally competing in about eight to ten regattas a year.  We have mainly drawn on existing talent within the Colby student body, however with more regular practices and better facilities, we plan on growing our own in-house talent as well.
