The Environmental Humanities Faculty Seminar is a year-long initiative that will focus on the environmental humanities. The seminar engages in discussions throughout the academic year on a chosen topic. The seminar leader develops a set of readings with the group, organize meetings, and facilitate analysis and debate. The topic explored by the seminar will become the basis for the Mellon Summer Institute in 2019, and the Faculty will work together to develop a campus core of scholars to support further productive work with the Summer Institute.
