h Some Comments About Calling CER:

(1) While CER is dispatched by, and often responds with, Colby Security we are in NO way a disciplinary body. CER is ONLY responsible for and concerned with the medical situation present.

(2) CER rescuers are trained to the same standards as BLS ambulance personnel.

(3) All medical personnel, CER members included, are held to high requirements of maintaining patient confidentiality. Anything witnessed or learned on scene is considered confidential. CER maintains a high level of confidentiality and professionalism to secure an appropriate patient-rescuer interaction that is unique to the call, and will not effect later interactions with that individual.

(4) Please remember that CER is here to make an informed decision about the medical necessity of the situation. Please do not hesitate to dispatch us.
