These nickel sleeves and tin capsules are the parts that will be loaded into the instrument.  There are several tools to use to effectively work with these tiny parts.  A pair of forceps will be found in a blue pouch near the CAHN balance, along with a scoop in another blue pouch.  There are two other tools as well to help load the capsule from the scoop, small needle like objects with handles.
