With the Outing Club's spiffy new website, all trip sign-ups will be posted online in the Calendar section. Slots are on a first-come-first-serve basis, so be sure to check back often for the latest opportunities!

How to sign up:
1. Log in with your Colby login and password via the link in the upper left hand corner.
1. Click the Calendar link in the column on the left hand side of the page.
2. Click on the trip of interest.
3. In the top right corner, there should be a link that says "Sign up". Click that.
4. It should send you to a page that contains a list of all the trips you are on. That's it!

The Colby Outing Club, the largest club on campus (over 250 members annually), is a student organization that exists to facilitate outdoor activities and recreation. We have extensive resources for use by Colby students and faculty, including every imaginable type of outdoor gear. Our wide range of gear is available for all members, and includes: four-season tents and sleeping bags, kayaks and associated paddling equipment, canoes, stoves, camping-cooking utensils, backpacks, cross-country and telemark skiis, boots and poles, snowshoes, bike tools, and miscellaneous other items. Our activities include trip planning and other outdoor focused events. We also operate a cabin on Great Pond of Belgrade lakes.

The COC is a student-run club. We hold weekly meetings during the normal school year on Sundays at 7:00 p.m. in the COC office. Students interested in becoming officers should attend these planning meetings. In the spring officers are elected for the coming year by the present members of the Katahdin Council.

Our club office and equipment room are located in the basement of Mary Low. Please come to office hours (7-8, Sun-Thurs) to ask questions regarding the club and/or use of the use of the cabin. To get there, enter the alleyway between Coburn and Marylow on the Northeast side of the buildings. The green door on the right hand side is the entrance.

Every member of the Colby community can join the club to get FREE access to the equipment and priority on all club events.
