More than 2,500 people visited Colby's museum to watch former Buddhist monk Losang Samten create The Wheel of Life sand mandala in February. For those who missed it, a video is now online. Using grains of colored sand, Samten created this elaborate circular "painting" that symbolizes of the cyclical nature of life, and after it was finished he swept it into a pile.
