Natalie Deuschle '11 is shown with cloth bags handmade by women in Cambodia for sale in the United States. Deuschle started the project, called Akun Cambodia, last year when she was an intern with
Face to Face AIDS Project in Battambang, Cambodia. Women suffering from HIV/AIDS there come to the Salvation Centre Cambodia school to learn skills to support themselves. Deuschle is selling the handcrafted bags through the
Apollo Salon in Waterville. All profits benefit the program in Battambang.
