43 Eleanor Smart Braunmuller reports that her grandson, Albert Goodman, is a sophomore at Colby and a member of the swim team. Her granddaughter, Sarah, is a senior at Goucher College. In June her mother, Ethelyn Smart, passed away just four months shy of her 100th birthday. Although Eleanor says she never lived in a dorm on campus, she thoroughly enjoyed visiting friends who did. She also fondly remembers having friends stop by her house on Main Street in Waterville. She still stays at the family home in Waterville whenever she's not in New Jersey. . . . Three years ago Donald Whitten sold both his Middlebury, Conn., home of 32 years and his winter home in Florida. He and his wife, Dorothy, moved to Folsom, Calif., to be near their daughter Nancy, her husband and their two grandsons, ages 10 and 14. Their home is located in a gated retirement community and has a club house and pool. Their other daughter, Jean, is a physician's assistant and lives in Manhattan.
