For more than 200 students who left Mayflower Hill in January for internships, "real world" is more than a TV show. Consider a sample from this year's crop:

Katherine Meyerhans '01 works on restoration of the 16th-century painting The Coronation of Hebe during her Jan Plan internship at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston. Sponsored by Valentine Talland '81, the museum's senior objects conservator, Meyerhans painted a section of the canvas after restorers had stripped paint from several previous restorations.
