 Edgar Allen Beem ("Gourley's Collected Works") is a freelance writer and art critic who lives in Yarmouth, Maine. He is a frequent contributor to Boston Globe Magazine, Down East, Yankee, Maine Times, Art News and Photo District News. He is the author of two books, Maine Art Now and Maine: The Spirit of America as well as forthcoming book on the landscape paintings of artist Neil Welliver.

 Matt Apuzzo '00 ("All Her Children") covers crime and courts for the New Bedford (Mass.) Standard-Times and is a regular contributor to Colby. His work has appeared in the Providence Journal, Dallas Morning News, Portland Press Herald and Waterville Morning Sentinel.publications.
