Gerald S. Lazarus '59 has been named chief of dermatology at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. A professor of dermatology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and author of seven books and more than 150 scientific papers, he previously was a visiting professor at the Peking Union Medical College in China and served as an advisor to the country's minister of health. He has received many teaching awards for research and medical education.
