East and West Quads

/Users/comm2/Desktop/Campus Map/ewquad1The East and West Quad complexes are arranged around the back side of Miller Library with a view to the north over Johnson Pond. Built in 1946, these buildings were extensively remodeled and modernized in the summer of 1998. East Quad includes Small, Champlin, and Butler halls; West Quad is made up of Robins, Chaplin and Pepper. Johnson and Averill halls, which flank the library, also are considered part of the quad.

High-speed internet in actionColby is recognized as the first college to issue universal e-mail accounts to all students, which it did in 1983. Colby provides students with access to the World Wide Web, space for personal Web pages, and high-speed Internet connections in every dorm room.
