KeyesThe Keyes Science Building, recently remodeled, is occupied principally by the Chemistry Department and includes classrooms, faculty offices, laboratories for teaching and research, and the Paul J. Schupf Computational Laboratory. The building is connected to Arey and to Mudd by indoor walkways. Spectrometers, chromatographs, calorimeters, and microcomputers are widely used in teaching and research, which go hand-in-hand in the department.
Science labColby has won numerous grants from the National Science Foundation and other sources for integrating research in undergraduate education and, recently, for biomedical research.
