Colby has benefited from your guidance in your roles as a trustee and overseer. Your generosity has made it possible for many students to attend Colby and to push the boundaries of science in the magnificent Davis Science Center on the Colby Green. For your contributions on Mayflower Hill and in the wider world, your alma mater is proud and grateful.

More about Andrew Davis ’85
A patron of the arts, education, health, and the environment, Andrew A. Davis ’85 created a foundation to support organizations that align with those interests. He is also a director of the Shelby Cullom Davis Charitable Fund, named for his grandfather, and he has secured that foundation’s support for the Davis United World College Scholars program and other projects at Colby. He was a Colby trustee from 1999 to 2006 and also served as a Colby overseer and a member of the Alumni Council. He established a scholarship fund for international student aid in 2009, and in 2013 he gave the naming gift for the Davis Science Center, home to the Computer Science, Mathematics and Statistics, and Psychology departments. A portfolio manager for the Davis Appreciation and Income and the Davis Real Estate mutual funds, he joined Davis Advisors in 1993 after working at PaineWebber.
