Recycling Your Old Letterhead, Envelopes, and Business Cards Since all departments on campus will be ordering new stationery, Colby has put plans into place to minimize paper waste by reusing as much paper as possible and recycling the rest. With your cooperation we can reuse and recycle nearly all old-style paper. So, what do I do with my old stationery? Letterhead should be brought to the Eustis mailroom when you pick up new stationery orders. Old letterhead will be cut and made into writing pads, which will be made available for various purposes. Envelopes may be used for on-campus mail only or they can be recycled. Business cards should be recycled. Use the standard paper recycling receptacles. Miscellaneous other forms (invoices, receipts etc. with the old Colby seal and/or logo) should be removed from circulation and either brought to the mailroom this summer along with letterhead to be turned into notepads (if possible) or recycled. If you have questions or if you have large volumes of obsolete paper, please contact the Office of Communications at 872-3276. |
