Mid Maine Homeless Shelter
The Mid-Maine Homeless Shelter is an interfaith shelter located at 28 Ticonic St. (behind Railroad Square) in Waterville. The shelter has around 20 beds and serves as a temporary home for men, women and families. There are three volunteer shifts available:
7-8am: Help make and serve breakfast, and socialize with the
guests.
5-6pm: Help make dinner, sort donations, and clean the shelter
before guests arrive.
6-7pm: Help serve and clean up dinner, and socialize with the
guests.
Volunteers can go alone or with a friend for one hour (or more) per week. Taxi vouchers are available if needed.
