Bryant Literary Review, Vol. 22: Emergent Student Voices CFS

The Bryant Literary Review, an international journal of poetry, fiction, and creative non-fiction at Bryant University in Smithfield, RI, seeks submissions from undergraduate student authors for its 2021 issue. The 22nd edition of the BLR is a special issue highlighting undergraduate student writers from regional New England universities. In these difficult times, they are invested in providing a platform for emergent student voices and creative expression. They are equally invested in featuring writers whose identities reflect a range of intersections. They invite submissions from all undergraduate students on all topics.

The submission deadline is February 12, 2021.  Students can submit their work here: Limit one submission per author (one short story and up to three poems, respectively). For samples of previously published work see

If you have any questions about this call for submissions or the BLR in general, please contact Professor Tom Roach at

Student authors whose work is accepted for the 2021 edition of the BLR will be invited to participate in a (Zoom) launch party/author reading in April 2021.
