In 2006 Dan developed and taught a Computer Networks and Security course in the Colby Computer Science
department. He continues to teach the course in alternating academic years and regularly offers independent study to students pursuing research in the field of computer, network and information security.
Prior to coming to Colby, Dan worked for a large North American Tier-1 Internet company as a network engineer. He has previously worked in IT departments at the University of Colorado at Boulder and George Mason University in his home town of Fairfax Virginia.
