Rabbi Asch was ordained by Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in 2008. She then took a position as a community organizer with the Industrial Areas Foundation, and later worked at Temple Sinai in Washington, D.C. before moving to Maine in June 2013.
Rabbi Asch currently serves as the rabbi of Temple Beth El in Augusta. She has worked with the Hillel at Bowdoin College, and is active in the local community, most recently working with the Capital Area New Mainers Project to welcome immigrants and refugees to the Capital Area. Rabbi Asch serves on the board of the Central Conference of American Rabbis.
When not working, you can find her enjoying the outdoors or cooking with her husband, Chris Myers Asch, and their three children.
