Luis Millones Figueroa is Charles A. Dana Professor of Spanish at Colby College were he has been teaching since 1998. He has been Chair of the Spanish Department and is the current Director of the Latin American Studies program. Professor Millones Figueroa’s research interests and publications focus on: Indigenous and Colonial Studies with an emphasis on the Andes; Early Modern Science and Natural Histories of the New World; and Jesuit writings from a transatlantic perspective.
