Before coming to Colby in 1999, I spent 19 years as a research/development hydrologist with Battelle National Labs (Richland, WA), the University of Alaska, and the National Weather Service (Anchorage and later Boston). My main functions at Colby are twofold I support use of the Administrative software package we use here (Jenzabar CX), mainly in the areas of Financial Aid, Payroll, Purchasing, Personnel, and Admissions. The most fun part of my job is supporting and maintaining web-based systems that use the administrative database. These include the Faculty/Staff and Student Computer Services help desks, Student Payroll, the ITS Inventory system, the Research Symposium data system, and Admissions.

During the week ending May 31, 2013, I observed my 750th week at Colby.
