Visiting Assistant Professor or Instructor Department: Anthropology Department Date:04/12/06 The Department of Anthropology invites applications for a one-year visiting Assistant Professor or Instructor beginning September 1, 2006. PhD (preferred) or ABD. Teaching experience is necessary. The successful candidate will be expected to teach introduction to sociocultural anthropology, a Latin American area course, and three other courses (in conjunction with departmental needs and the candidate's areas of interest). Applicants should send a cover letter, curriculum vitae, evidence of teaching skills and accomplishment, and three letters of reference to Search Committee, Department of Anthropology, Colby College, Waterville, ME 04901.
