Visiting Assistant Professor or Instructor Department: Government Department Date:03/20/06 Visiting Assistant Professor or Instructor in American Foreign Policy or International Relations. The Government Department of Colby College seeks applications for a part-time (three course) appointment in either American Foreign Policy or International Relations. Courses may be taught in fall (September 1 - December 31, 2006) or spring (February 1 - May 31, 2007), preferably including one course during Colby's January Program (January 1 - 31, 2007). Applicants should either have earned the PhD or be advanced graduate students, nearing completion of the dissertation. The successful applicant will teach one section of Introduction to International Relations or Introduction to American Politics and offer upper level courses of her or his own choosing. Applications including a c.v., teaching evaluations, and three letters of recommendation should be sent to: Professor Joseph Reisert, Chair, American Foreign Policy Search Committee, Department of Government, Colby College, Waterville, ME 04901.
