Administrative Secretary
Department: College Relations - Major Gifts

The administrative secretary will provide administrative and clerical support to three major gifts officers. The position requires extensive phone contact and the ability to exercise independent judgment and initiative. Frequent verbal and written communication is required within the College and with outside individuals and agencies. Position also requires heavy use of PC word processing, spreadsheets, and database applications.

Qualifications include: : Post-secondary education preferred, a High School Diploma required; previous secretarial experience required. Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as a working knowledge of business English and spelling skills are necessary; excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills required; must have the ability to meet deadlines, to work independently and make decisions in a busy environment, attention to detail, a real desire for accuracy, and initiative in assuming responsibilities.
