Fiscal year position.

The HVAC Refrigeration Technician will be responsible for tasks relating to the maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, and repair of air conditioning equipment, chillers, coolers, freezers, heat pumps, and other related HVAC equipment in a commercial/educational setting.

Qualifications include: A High School Diploma or GED; Certificate of Completion from a two year community college in a HVAC program or documented experience equivalent to; EPA Universal Refrigerant License - required, Maine State Limited Electrical License or better - desired, Maine State Journeyman Oil Burners License – desired; HVAC control systems experience: pneumatic, electric, and DDC; computer skills – proficient with File Maker Pro, Excel, Word; plumbing skills are desired; experience with water to air and water to water heat pumps is required, geothermal heat pump experience is a plus; valid drivers license required.
