Environmental Project Intern

of scientific knowledge in the areas of air, water, and soil, enabling our clients to identify and
respond to opportunities and threats within constantly changing regulatory and corporate

developing initial project concepts and environmental approvals to site decommissioning,
remediation, and reclamation. Endangered species monitoring, dam assessments and design,
archaeological studies, contaminated site cleanup, and operating one of Canada's largest
ecotoxicity testing laboratories are just a few of the projects where we need talented people like
you.
Stantec, a full-service environmental services firm, is seeking an interested student with a focus
in natural resources to join our Environmental Management Group in the Northeast US for the
summer of 2009. We would like to hire an intern to join our current staff of professional
specialists in wetland science, vernal pool ecology, habitat restoration, wildlife and fisheries
biology, and regulatory permitting.  This internship will offer valuable work experience and for
the right candidate may result in future full time employment upon graduation. The internship is
a paid position.  Compensation will depend upon the capabilities of the applicant. Job ID 2009-
