Martín Chambi (1891-1973), a Latin American photographer from a peasant family in the highlands of Peru, developed his photographic art in the city of Cuzco. As a point of reference in the Andean World, Chambi’s photography reveals the shifting nature of artistic identity in a Latin American context.

This event is cosponsored by the Spanish and Latin American Studies Departments.
