The Lunder Institute for American Art at the Colby College Museum of Art is pleased to host an event showcasing the research of Colby students. Originally organized to coincide with the Lunder Institute Research Symposium: Art by African Americans, this roundtable will now be held on Zoom.

Colby Research Assistants Carter Wynne ’20, Katie Herzig ’20, Jane MacKerron ’20, and Olivia Hochstadt ’21 will share with the Colby community their experiences as Lunder Institute Research Assistants in 2019-2020. The students have been working closely with the inaugural Lunder Institute Research Fellows, all scholars conducting original research on African American artists represented in the Colby Museum’s collections. The roundtable will be moderated by Jessamine Batario, Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow at the Lunder Institute.

Questions should be directed to Jessamine Batario, jbatario@colby.edu. You can learn more about the Lunder Institute and its research focus on art by African Americans at colby.edu/lunderinstitute.
