Come hear a captivating talk by Peru's greatest anthropologist, who is one of the world's leading experts on the indifenous and popular groups of the Andes. Professor Millones will speak to us about folk healing in Peru and the role of hallucinogens in traditional medical practice.

Millones has published over two dozen books on history and popular culture in the Andes. An internationally acclaimed scholar, his works are read and debated extensively throughout Latin American, North America, Europe and Japan. Millones has received fellowships from the Fulbright, Tinker, Ford and Guggenheim Foundations, and has taught at the University of Texas, Stanford, Princeton, and Harvard.
