A Fiction double-header, featuring the "screamingly funny" (Entertainment Weekly) Francine Prose, whose books include "Bigfoot Dreams", "Household Saints", "Blue Angel" and "Guided Tours of Hell", and Claire Messud–a "born novelist," according to Cynthia Ozick–and author of "The Last Life", "When the World Was Steady" and "The Hunters", a finalist for the PEN/Faulkner award. A contributing editor for "Harper's", Prose writes regularly on art for "The Washington Post." Meddu's articles and reviews have appeared in "The Nation", "The New York Times", "The Times Literary Supplement" and elsewhere.
