Cotter Union / Page Commons Room

This Saturday, October 9, 2004 at 8:00pm, the SPB Convert and Live Music Committee is presenting a concert featuring the band the Argument with opener Ryan Montbleau in Page Commons. The Argument is an energetic, alternative-pop, keyboard based quartet from West Virginia. They have been compared to the likes of Ben Folds and Jellyfish, so fans of last week’s show are sure to appreciate this bands talent. They have opened for some big name acts including Train, 3 Doors Down, Howie Day and Fountains of Wayne, testament of their appeal to a wide variety of musical tastes.
Ryan Montbleau is a singer/songwriter/guitarist from Peabody, Massachusetts. A graduate of Villanova University, this young man combines the sounds of gospel, funk, blues and ballads into something that has been likened to the music of Ben Harper and Jamiroquoi.
