"The Pitfalls of Development Work: Experiences from Malawi and Cambodia"

LuziCare, the student-led initiative for accessible healthcare in Malawi, presents a talk by Ken Wong '83 on the difficulties of development work in Malawi and Cambodia. Wong is the Director of the Face-to-Face AIDS Project, which increases understanding of the HIV crisis in Malawi and Cambodia and generates funding for a range of carefully selected projects in the area through photography, film, educational exhibits, and presentations. Last spring, Colby featured the organization's AIDS PhotoMosiacs in the Diamond Building, which depict dozens of photographs of those affected by HIV. Wong currently works with LuziCare to assist the initiative's projects on the ground in Malawi.
