Stop Telling Women to Smile is a street art project by Tatyana Fazlalizadeh that addresses gender based street harassment. Tatyana Fazlalizadeh is a Philadelphia transplant from Oklahoma City, OK. She has worked as a freelance illustrator and an exhibiting artist – having her work published in numerous magazines including Two One Five magazine and Beyond Race – and a having her work shown in a number of Philadelphia art galleries. Tatyana is an oil painter focusing on figures and portraits – portraits of people that have affected her life and/or the world that she lives in. She will be discussing two of her campaigns, "Stop Telling Women to Smile" and "Get Angry," that are being displayed in the Pugh Center a week before she comes to Colby.
