Artist Alison Hildreth will present a lecture about her work to the public. After receiving her BA in Art History from Vassar College, Hildreth went on to study painting at the Art Students League and the National Academy of Art in New York. With painting as the central threat, her creative practice has traveled into the fields of printmaking, installation art, and book arts. Hildreth's work can be found in the collections of the Metroplitan Museum of Art, the Brooklyn Museum of Art, the Portland Museum of Art, Colby College, and the New York Public Library.
