Our department assists with requests that range from work orders to major capital projects. We assist with learning space design, furniture, interior and exterior renovations and enhancements, new construction, building systems and campus infrastructure maintenance and renewal, open spaces and landscape projects.
Service Requests and Help Desk
Work order requests are processed Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3:30 pm. For emergencies, such as leaks, power outages or life safety situations outside of normal business hours, please contact the Security Office at 207-859-5530.
You can submit a request for the following (partial listing):
- Custodial Services
- New Keys
- Grounds Care
- Snow Removal
The typical turnaround time for most work orders is between 24 and 48 hours. However, some work orders may include multiple tasks and may take longer. There are also times of the year, usually in preparation for major campus events or student move-in and move-out, when the crews are scheduled in advance and turnaround time may be longer.

Equipment, Facilities and Technology Requests
For all requests related to space, equipment, furniture, facilities (including grounds), and infrastructure, we work closely with the Offices of Financial Planning, the Provost’s Office, the Dean of Students’ Office and Information Technology.
