ATTENDANCE POLICY

LECTURE

It's your money. But, Colby's attendance policy mandates that you attend all classes. If you are unable to attend a lecture session due to illness, either call (3244) or e-mail and let me know. It is well advised that you obtain a copy of a classmate's notes (if possible). If I were a classmate, I'd tend to put a high monetary price on my notes and sell them accordingly. Class lectures and lecture outlines AUGMENT the textbook. Examination questions will be based on textbook and outside readings, and lecture notes.

LABORATORY

Attendance IS Required.

This course is part of the Natural Science requirement with a laboratory. You may not pass this course without attending, participating in, and passing the laboratory part of this course.

IF YOU ARE ILL ON THE DAY OF THE EXAMINATION

• You will need to have an OFFICIAL excuse from the Dean of Students.

IF THERE IS A DEATH IN THE FAMILY:

• A copy of the obituary must be submitted to the Instructor.
