Cookies and lemonade and lots to talk about! Placement TestStudents who have selected a German course above the 125 level, and do not
have credit for the SAT-II or Advanced Placement Exam on file at Colby's
registrar MUST take Colby's language placement test during orientation before
classes start.
Placement is determined by the test score. A score of: 20 - 45 places a student in GM 125

Zachary Haas '07, received the endowed annual Harrington Putnam German Prize. Congratulations to all of you! Three Fulbrights!Congratulations to our graduating German majors Katja Ghelli, Matt Ruby and Maria Sanders. They won a Fulbright scholarship and will be English teaching assistants at a Gymnasium in Germany next year. Katja is placed in Schleswig-Holstein, Matt in Rheinland-Pfalz, and Maria will be teaching in Linz, Austria.
