Stanford University has recently published Danielle Sheppard’s senior thesis, “Social Solutions for Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation: Cross Cultural Lessons from Denmark to the United States” in Intersect, Stanford’s Journal of Science, Technology and Society.  Sheppard, a 2011 Colby graduate and STS/Anthropology double major, spent her senior JanPlan conducting research for this paper in Copenhagen funded by a Sandy Maisel Student Research Grant from the Goldfarb Center.  According to Sheppard, “I’m extremely pleased to share this news because I know that my paper would not have received this recognition if not for the generous grant by the Goldfarb Center that shaped my research.”  She is currently working as a Community Innovation Climate Fellow for Clean Air-Cool Planet in Cambridge, Mass.
