Environmental Studies January and Summer Internship Stipends
The Environmental Studies Program has been awarded a grant by the Mellon Foundation
to fund several environmental internship stipends annually. The amount of money
available for each stipend will depend on the nature of the internship, the anticipated
budget and financial needs of the applicant, and the availability of other resources
including the employer's ability to provide partial compensation. Total awards
will range from $600 to $3,000. Applications should be submitted to Beth Kopp,
221 Lunder, bkkopp@colby.edu.

Mellon Internship Stipend Awards
The Environmental Studies Program is very lucky to have received money from the
Mellon Foundation that can be used to provide stipends to students who want to
undertake environmentally-related internships, but otherwise would not be able
to swing the cost. Colby College is committed to this program and will fund the
environmental internships when the Mellon funds are exhausted.
